In the past year Roegen has been coming out of his shell. After an entire year where people at church weren’t sure if he could talk or not, he will talk anyone’s ear off. In fact, he called Scott’s mom the other day and part of their two hour conversation went like this:

Roegen: Blah blah blah Scooby Doo blah blah blah I want a big bicycle blah blah blah Pablo is naughty blah blah blah
Grandma: That’s great
Roegen: I need to go poop so I have to put the phone down but don’t hang up because I’m not done talking.
Grandma: Don’t forget to wash your hands.

He then set the telephone down for TEN MINUTES to take care of business before continuing where he left off.

She must really love him.
